Template License
When you purchase a template from GetMyPortfolio, you receive a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use the template under the terms below. Free templates are licensed under the same terms.
What You Can Do
Use for yourself
Deploy the template as your own personal portfolio website.
Modify freely
Change the design, layout, content, colors, fonts, and functionality.
Deploy anywhere
Host on Vercel, Netlify, Cloudflare Pages, or any Next.js-compatible platform.
Keep it forever
Your license does not expire. Once purchased, the template is yours.
What You Cannot Do
Resell
You may not sell the template, whether in its original or modified form.
Sublicense
You may not grant others the right to use the template beyond a single end product.
Claim authorship
You may not claim you designed the original template. You can claim credit for your modifications.
Use in marketplaces
You may not upload the template to any other marketplace or template store.
One License, One Project
Each license covers one end product — meaning one deployed portfolio website. If you want to use the same template for multiple projects, you can.
Free Templates
Free templates follow the same license terms. They are free to download and use for one project but cannot be redistributed or resold.
Ownership
GetMyPortfolio retains full intellectual property ownership of all templates. Your purchase grants a license to use — it does not transfer copyright or ownership of the underlying design and code.
Liability
Templates are provided "as is." We do our best to ensure quality and functionality, but we are not liable for any damages arising from the use of a template. See our Terms of Service for full details.
